Silicon Sensing discusses the next generation of inertial technology at Intergeo

At Intergeo 2023 the Silicon Sensing team will promote the company's latest range of rugged, high performance inertial systems and sensors as well as discussing the potential of a new generation of technology that is nearing market readiness.

Darioosh Naderi, Head of Business Development at Silicon Sensing comments: “Today our inertial products are delivering sustained motion sensing performance in all environments - land, sea, air and space. Our newest micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS)-based systems and sensors offer performance levels equivalent to far larger, heavier, and more costly FOG-based units in critical areas such as bias instability and angle random walk.”

Silicon Sensing is focused on the precision performance market, with robust, compact, and ultra-reliable MEMS inertial sensors and systems. Tens of millions of units have been delivered to customers around the world, with the company offering products ranging from tiny, low cost, navigation and pointing gyros through to compact, tactical grade 9 degree of freedom inertial measurement units (IMUs). 

Naderi continues: “Looking ahead, our engineering team is working on our next generation technology. We believe it has the potential to truly disrupt the market, with an aim to offer compact, rugged MEMS-based inertial systems able to deliver navigation-grade performance for the first time.”

Latest Silicon Sensing products on display at Intergeo will include:
