Collins Aerospace, a unit of United Technologies Corp, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defence industry.

Created in 2018 by bringing together UTC Aerospace Systems and Rockwell Collins, Collins Aerospace has the capabilities, comprehensive portfolio and expertise to solve customers’ toughest challenges and to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global market.

Collins Aerospace, alongside Sumitomo Precision Products in Japan, are now the two Joint Venture Partners in Silicon Sensing Systems – now completing its 20^th year of operation.  Silicon Sensing can trace its pedigree in inertial products and systems back more than 100 years to the early days of Sperry Gyroscope, and now enjoys an unrivalled reputation for the development and product of advanced MEMS-based sensors and systems.

Silicon Sensing also continues to supply sensors to Collins Aerospace, embodied into products delivered by Atlantic Inertial Systems, a trading company within Collins Aerospace and now part of their Mission Systems strategic business unit.
