UTC Aerospace Systems

United Technologies Corp. recently completed its acquisition of Goodrich Corporation. Goodrich has been combined with Hamilton Sundstrand to create the new UTC Aerospace Systems company. Atlantic Inertial Systems Limited, UTC Aerospace’s Plymouth (UK) facility, formerly part of Goodrich) is the 50/50 co-owner of Silicon Sensing Systems Limited, together with Sumitomo Precision Products Limited of Japan.  This marks yet another milestone in the long history of inertial sensor business which forms the heritage of Silicon Sensing.
