Newly appointed Director at Silicon Sensing Systems Japan; Mr. Ryozo Yagi, received a warm reception during his first visit to Silicon Sensing in Plymouth, on 3rd September.
Hosted by U.K. Business Director Martin Couch (pictured below shaking hands with Yagi-san) this was mainly a ‘get to know you’ visit, however the two-day meeting allowed ample opportunity to review plans for the future direction of the company.
Silicon Sensing is developing new MEMS gyroscope and accelerometer sensors and modules specifically targeting high precision inertial system markets currently monopolized by large and costly FOG and RLG based IMU providers.
During his time at Plymouth Yagi-san was also able to take a tour of the cutting edge MEMS IMU production facilities at Plymouth.
Yagi-san has been with Silicon Sensing’s Japanese parent company; Sumitomo Precision Products, for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Joint Venture Company.
