2007 – a good year for Silicon Sensing

“Silicon Sensing Systems had another very successful year in 2007, achieving better than expected growth in sales of its MEMS gyro products to key Automotive and Commercial market sectors. Our technology is constantly moving forward and 2007 saw the start of production of our VSG4™ capacitive gyro sensor and launch of the first product to use the new generation sensor – CRS10.
“SSSL yaw rate sensors are now in widespread use for vehicle Electronic Stability Control systems, and commercial applications where reliability and consistent performance are important.
“As part of the commitment to our customers the company accomplished full 3 year rigorous TS16949 re-certification across its worldwide operations, and further improved production capacity, product quality and customer support. Our service to existing and new customers is continuously improving with updates to the company website and systems to ensure a fast and effective response to customers needs. Feedback from customers suggests that SSSL is the benchmark when it comes to supporting its customers.
“Looking ahead, we are developing new products to meet the ever-changing requirements of our customers and 2008 will see the release of some new and exciting products. We are also using our expertise in silicon MEMS manufacturing and certain unique materials to explore new technologies and products, keep an eye on our website for news of this in the future.”
