Angular Rate Range / Full Rate Range
The maximum input angular rate that can be applied to the gyroscope where full performance will be achieved. When the input angular rate exceeds this point, the gyroscope output may become distorted or may saturate. The units for Angular Rate Range are normally in degrees per second, or °/s. Note that Full Rate Range is normally two times the Angular Rate Range. For example for a gyroscope with a rate range of +/-100°/s, the Full Rate Range would be 200 °/s.
