Today, J.F. Lehman & Company completed its acquisition of BAE Systems' Inertial Products business. The purchase includes transfer of all business activities of Inertial Products, including BAE Systems' portion of its joint venture with Sumitomo Precision Products, Silicon Sensing Systems.
As a result, Inertial Products has become Atlantic Inertial Systems and will operate as an independent business. This means that the two partners in the Silicon Sensing Systems JV will now become Atlantic Inertial Systems and (as before) Sumitomo Precision Products. We will continue to meet your needs for gyros and other inertial sensing solutions and we will continue to support your existing and new programmes with enthusiasm and dedication.
Your points of contact within Silicon Sensing Systems remain the same as they were before, our product portfolio and trading processes are unchanged. In short – it is business as usual.
