The Sales teams from Silicon Sensing Systems (UK) and Silicon Sensing Systems (Japan) will promote their capability into the rapidly growing automotive market in China.  Silicon Sensing has an enviable position in the supply of yaw-rate sensors (MEMS gyros) to the global consumer automotive and truck market.

Silicon Sensing has supplied well over 10M sensors into advanced automotive braking systems to date, offering high reliability shock-resistant sensors into this growing safety application.  The sensors form a crucial part of Vehicle Stability Control Systems - sensing the vehicle yaw rate such that, when a problem is detected (an impending over-steer or understeer situation), the braking system automatically applies braking to individual wheels  to bring the car back under control.

VSG-4, the new MEMS technology from Silicon Sensing will be demonstrated, offering even greater accuracy and fault-detection capability for the automotive market.   The full range of gyro products, and underlying technology, will also be on display.
