DMU is a packaged module offering an angular rate measurement range of ±250°/s and linear acceleration measurement ranges of ±8g or ±30g, with a CAN2B (1kHz) electrical interface.
A 16-bit DSP provides "on the fly" vector transformation, calibration and thermal compensation to give improved performance and ease of integration.
When fitted to a vehicle it can be located away from the centre of gravity or centre of rotation as built-in lever-arm correction is provided, giving flexibility to the system designer.
